Our client is seeing a forward thinking, capable and highly motivated Applications Business Analyst to join their team and to provide business, functional and technical analysis of various applications for their IMS customers and staff.   The key aim of the team is to provide support and professional consulting services to achieve the maximum benefit and continuous business improvements as a result of the effective use of the specific application.

We are assisting our client as they look for Business Analysts with PeopleSoft experience that are looking for professional career development and responsibility.  You have the opportunity of being part of an organisation that wants to raise the bar and are consequently in the process of transitioning their IMS environment into a professional services consultancy.  As a BA, you’ll use your sound technical knowledge as you work across the entire project life cycle from requirements gathering, data analysis, creating functional specs, testing and delivering high level documentation.  You’ll also be involved in analysing the components of systems/processes to recommend changes, liaising and coordinating with sub-contractors, government personnel, technical experts and providing relevant workshops.

In order to be considered, you’ll need the following qualifications and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications with at least 4- 5 years commercial experience as a Business Analyst
  • A sound understanding of the entire SDLC process and applications
  • Customer focused with a professional and consultative approach
  • Solid experience using BA tools and methodologies
  • Ability in identifying, developing and implementing business change, process improvement initiatives and continuous improvements
  • Top notch relationship management skills as well as the ability to liaise with stakeholders
  • Project Management skills – planning, reporting, and implementation
  • PM tools – Prince2 or PMI – beneficial
  • Experience working on CRM systems – PeopleSoft
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • ITIL certification
