Talking to our clients, there is an optimistic view that the market for Business Analysts is on the rise. Consequently, our clients have asked us to keep an eye out for professional, experienced and competent BAs who will possibly be looking for new opportunities over the next few months.
We are very keen to talk to both active and passive Business Analysts who are looking ahead and planning on making a career change. As a BA, you’ll possess experience with requirements gathering, data analysis, UML, business process mapping, gap analysis, creating functional specs and delivering high level documentation.
Some of the qualifications and skills our clients would be seeking would include:
- Tertiary qualifications with at least 5 years commercial experience as a Business Analyst
- Sound understanding of the SDLC
- Solid experience using BA tools and methodologies
- Ability in identifying, developing and implementing business change, process improvement initiatives and continuous improvements
- Top notch relationship management skills as well as the ability to liaise with stakeholders
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Project Management experience – planning, reporting, implementation
- Experience working on CRM systems
- Strong commercial acumen
- ITIL certification
