R&D Electronics Engineer

Our client is a well renowned global leader in innovation and they design, manufacture and market specific products and services to their clients.  They also are very focussed on R&D and are constantly improving existing products and designing new products to meet their clients’ needs.

They have a position available for a confident, dynamic and highly motivated intermediate R&D Electronics Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team and to participate with some electronic circuit design, prototyping and testing as well as providing electronics solutions for new and existing products.  This role will appeal to someone who is a natural leader, able to think outside the square and challenge the rules.   You’ll be energetic and enthusiastic and be hungry to learn and grow.  You are also a team player who enjoys interacting across the business and enjoys a collaborative and supportive team environment.

You’ll have at least 3 – 4 years experience and feel that you’re now ready to step up and show what you’re capabile of as you continue to develop your electronics skills and be more involved in design.

In order to be considered for this position, you’ll need the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or similar
  • 3 – 4 Year’s commercial experience within an R&D manufacturing environment
  • 3 Year’s proven experience constructing electronic circuitry
  • Solid diagnostic skills with electronic circuits
  • An understanding of PCBs and PCB software (Altium /Protel)
  • Exceptional communication skills and team player
  • Initiative, self-motivated and with the right attitude
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
