Mark Robinson, Managing Director
Before founding Allerton Recruitment, Mark worked for a specialist recruiter in Auckland and quickly applied skills learned in the UK to the New Zealand market.
His career began in 1999 with one of the UK’s leading construction recruitment agencies. In 2006 he set up a new office in the north of England for a young and rapidly expanding recruitment business that he continued to manage before seeking a fresh challenge ‘Down Under’ in New Zealand.
Mark understands the challenges of moving to New Zealand, and has first hand experience of the lifestyle benefits this country has to offer over other parts of the world.

Nikki Anderson, Candidate Manager
Nikki’s role at Allerton Recruitment is focused solely on candidates. She’ll be a first point of contact for all new applicants and the friendly voice that keeps everyone up to date with the latest employment opportunities in Construction and Engineering.
Originally from the UK, Nikki moved to New Zealand in 2011. She lived in Auckland before moving south to set up a permanent base in Christchurch. Prior to joining Allerton Recruitment, Nikki was employed by a specialist civil engineering company as a Project Coordinator and worked on numerous SCIRT (Stronger Christchurch Infrastructure Rebuild Team) projects around the city.
Having been actively involved with Christchurch’s regeneration and seeing first hand the increasingly vibrant community, Nikki is well placed to advise people on their next career move.
