Our client is an established contracting and design and build business with a strong client base in the commercial construction sector. Typically, they carry out projects ranging from small refurbishments to $40million new build developments across the industrial, retail, education and health sectors.

They are now entering an exciting new phase in the company’s history and have ambitious plans to increase turnover and profitability. As a result of this expansion, they are now seeking to recruit a Commercial Manager to join their Auckland regional office.

The role will have full responsibility for all contractual matters, financial management and procurement across the region. The successful applicant will also be expected to recruit, manage and develop junior members of staff, submit accurate reports and cashflow forecasts to the board of directors and assist the senior management team to enhance the company’s reputation and secure future work.

We are seeking applications from candidates who have relevant experience in major construction organisations, have a high level of commercial acumen, are able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills, and who are keen to push their career forward in a dynamic organisation.
