Due to continued demand for our client’s professional, creative and solid BI solutions, they are looking for a highly competent and technically strong BI Consultant to join their highly skilled team in Auckland.

You’ll be someone who’s had at least 3 – 4 plus years BI consulting experience and has numerous successful accomplishments under your belt.  You’ll have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as you’ll be working very closely with new and existing clients.  The role is technically focused and therefore we really are looking for solid technical skills with Cognos TM1.  Working across a variety of industries, you’ll be developing and implementing some small to large, complex business intelligence solutions.

In order to be considered for this role, you’ll need the following skills and experience:

• Tertiary qualifications with 3 – 4 years BI consulting experience
• Business and software consulting experience with the ability to build and retain client relationships
• Solid technical skills with either Cognos or TM1 is essential
• Software development skills with SQL and VBA would be highly advantageous
• Knowledge of OLAP, ETL processes or data warehousing would be beneficial
• Project Management abilities
• Full life-cycle of project development experience including requirements, design, development, testing, rollout, implementation and training.
• Commercially astute and able to budget, forecast and are familiar with financial accounting
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Excellent analytical and research skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work on and lead projects with minimum supervision while adding value to cross-functional teams
• Experience with Cognos Enterprise Planning a plus.
