Our client is seeking a proactive and highly competent Senior Project Manager to join their organisation and to take responsibility for delivering complex IT projects within the agreed scope, framework, time lines and budgets.
As this is a key position, you will be reporting to the Operations GM and will be involved in reviewing project plans, proposals and procedures, staffing resources and implementing project management governances. This is an opportunity of being part of an organisation that wants to raise the bar and are consequently in the process of transitioning their IMS environment into a professional services consultancy. As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll use your influencing and negotiating skills, commercial acumen and ability to mitigate risk and you’re strong interpersonal skills in order to drive projects forward.
Ideally you’ll have the following qualifications and experience:
- Relevant tertiary degree or equivalent industry experience with a minimum of 5 years project management experience delivering successful complex projects
- Sound knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and techniques.
- Certified PMP or Prince2 essential
- Consultative and inclusive approach dealing with internal and external stakeholders and project teams.
- Proven experience in a variety of projects in the IT environment including software development, package implementation, infrastructure, business transformation and organisational change.
- Proven experience in managing large scale systems integration or software development projects.
