An opportunity to join the Christchurch re-build
Our client is a busy Project Management firm based in Christchurch, who are heavily involved with the rebuilding of the city after the September 2010 earthquake and subsequent aftershocks. We are now seeking applications from Project Managers with experience in the commercial building sector and/or insurance claims work.
The role will involve liaising between insurance companies and customers to define the scope of repair works, managing the design process, assisting with the procurement of contractors, overseeing the construction phase and ensuring the work meets all the agreed cost, time and safety requirements.
The expectation for this role is that suitable candidates will be degree qualified, have at least 10 years project management experience working for a client-side firm and be able to communicate at the highest level and manage delicate stakeholder relationships.
