Our client is seeking a Software Team Leader with hands-on .Net technical skills to lead, manage and mentor a team of 5 developers.  You will be joining a world leader when it comes to their innovative technology and with their global reach and reputation, you will be proud to have the opportunity to work with them.

Working with software architects and the software engineering team, you will still be hands-on and will be writing, reviewing and improving the quality of the code, mentoring the team through their daily activities, maintaining project information and you’ll also be responsible for the configuration of management of software releases.  This role also will require your abilities as a Scrum Master to coordinate the scrum teams, implement scrum process improvements and to improve the scrum team dynamics.  You’ll be involved in the on-going development of software applications and will take responsibility of the delivery of software that works together with hardware in a manufacturing environment.

In order to be considered for this leadership position, you’ll need the following qualifications and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Engineering / Electronics / Mechatronics, or similar
  • At least 5 plus years commercial experience developing software in .Net C# and SQL Server
  • Experience as a Scrum Master or at least 2 plus years scrum experience and wanting to be a Scrum Master
  • A couple of years in a team leader’s role with the ability to delegate and mentor junior developers
  • Work well under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working within an R&D manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous
